Global Impact Day – April 8th

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Beta Chi Omega Chapter will observe Global Impact Day on April 8, 2022. The chapter in partnership with Commonwealth Catholic Charities will donate Kitchen Starter Kits to refugees moving to the Roanoke Valley. We will be collecting plates, bowls, and cups (sets of 4), utensils, pots, pans, mixing bowls, and can openers, along with kitchen washcloths and towels. All items must be new and in original packaging. There will be two drive by collection dates: Saturday, March 19th 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM at the Lawson Bldg. (across from the Gainsboro library) and Saturday, April 1st 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM at Burlington Coat Factory Parking Lot. Join us as we strive to help others who are in need!
